We have an exciting opportunity for a team leader interested in delivering excellent services to our students. The Learning and Teaching Team within Te Tumu Herenga offers a broad range of services to support the academic and information skills development of UoA students. We primarily develop online learning resources and provide face-to-face and virtual workshops. This team also focuses on supporting Māori & Pacific students, neurodiverse students, and students needing English language enrichment. The team works in partnership with other teams within Te Tumu Herenga and across the University to support the development of academic and information literacy skills within the curriculum.
This is a full-time, permanent, 37.5-hours-per-week role. The salary range for this role is $96,800 – $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

We are looking for someone who can:
Knowledge of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree preferred.
Leadership and people management experience within a complex working environment.
Demonstrated skills and experience in team building, change management and working collaboratively.
Experience in developing and delivering relevant learning development services for various students.
Demonstrated knowledge of learning and teaching theories and the ability to develop and implement innovative learning programs and learning resources.
Knowledge of or a background in learning design, teaching in a tertiary environment, English language teaching, services to Māori and Pacific students, and neurodiversity is desirable.
